In March, National Starch and Chemical Co. announced the acquisition of the Mydrin AGS GmbH adhesives business in Europe and Australia from BTP plc. Mydrin is a major supplier of bookbinding adhesives in Germany, and a leading supplier of animal glues.
The acquisition expands National's global adhesives operation, particularly strengthening its position as a market leader in Europe.
